La Mon hotel is only 15 mins drive from Belfast, but seems like it is much further away from the City as it is hidden away within the hills! It’s such a gem of a venue, I always enjoy coming back to La Mon hotel as a wedding photographer

Laurie and Chris had the whole day at La Mon, so we were able to take our time and get lots of nice preparation shots in and around the venue. La mon has many great spots inside and outside which I always try to make the most of.

As Laurie was getting ready, I noticed that the fields surrounding La Mon were looking perfect to get some pics of the pair after the ceremony, so made a mental note to make that a priority in the afternoon.

Rev. David Cooper was on duty as the officiant for the day, delivering a personal and warm ceremony as always. Joining me on video duty was Eddy from E&L wedding films, which was great fun as always.

The rain kept away and we were able to hop across into the adjacent field for some portraits in the sun, these have to be my favourite pics from this venue and we had such a laugh capturing these moments, with some help from Eddy and his assistant to hold my flash against the wind!
